Defensiveness can erode trust and derail relationships. How can curiosity make inclusion conversations easier?

Everyone gets defensive on occasion. And this makes sense if you’re actually under attack.

The problem arises when we experience anger, fear and guilt that leads to denial, minimization and defensiveness when trying to have conversations about how to address discrimination. So let’s not allow defensiveness to shut down important conversations about I&D before they’ve even begun.

This workshop explains why we get defensive, the impact this has, and how we can move from defensiveness to curiosity, accountability and collective inclusion.
